Fontainebleau Las Vegas — Two Nights with a Sphere View

A friend in LA who often does Vegas staycations recommended it: a bit away from the Strip so it's quiet, and only about two years old.

Basics

Room and Sphere view

The Sphere filled the window, and the room was very clean and spacious. I spent a lot of time just staring at the Sphere; my child loved the cute animations on it.

Pool

The pool was great, and there's a hot tub — we went every day.

Facilities

There's a large sculpture in the lobby and the property itself is huge. It's also where Jensen Huang gave his CES keynote in January 2026.

Location

Being new, the area around it is a bit empty. It's a long way to the main Strip (Bellagio, Caesars), awkward even for adults to walk — take a taxi, or the bus to save money.

Verdict

Good: clean and spacious, with an open Sphere view.

Not so good: some distance from the main Strip — a downside if you want to stay right in the middle of it.

FAQ

Is parking extra?

Self-parking was included in the resort fee.

Can you walk to the main Strip?

It's far to Bellagio and Caesars; a taxi or bus is better.

Is it good with kids?

We stayed two nights with our child, who loved the big room, the pool and the Sphere view.
